Cruck-Bladed Garage

Behind a restrained exterior, this garage features voluptuous cedar cruck blades and log purlins integrated with square-sawn timbers, all on a foundation of reused granite blocks. Built with a friend, John Nininger, for another mutual friend, this frame is a great example of what is possible when we let natural forms guide some design decisions.
